We, the owners of S*Hufflepuffs, are Anne and Per Skoogh. We live in Stockholm, the capital city of Sweden. We bought our first cat in the summer of 2000, a cute little mixed breed girl (Sacred Birman-British Shorthair) whose name was Buffy the Mouse Slayer. Unfortunately, she became very sick with FIP after just a month, and died shortly thereafter. The loss is still very painful. However, we soon learned that we couldn't contemplate being cat-less, so in time for christmas 2000 we bought Femmans Räser-Rune - Hamlet - from Gunnel Malmgren in Svedala. He was very careful when he came to us, and actually stayed under the couch for several days when we first brought him home. He warmed to his new home quickly, and is now a wonderful loving cat with a strong personality. In the fall 2001 we were offered to give a new home to Ywette from friends of ours, and she loves being with Hamlet. Our third Brit, S*Swan Klei's Zalina comes from Ywonne Kleist on the island of Orust and moved in with us fall 2002. She doesn't live with us any longer, but is enjoying life with her son Fenris. In the summer of 2003, we fell in love with Kelly, who is a British Longhair. Needless to say, we couldn't stand to not buy her, so we did. She's registered with Swedish Independent, where Per is a breeder. We also have three cats from our own breeding - Edith, Glinda and Gisele. We do participate in shows, but it's nothing we do every weekend. When we don't spend time with the cats - which we do almost always - we like to play golf or read books. We also spend a lot of time at our computers, which you'll notice if you drop us an e-mail! Cooking is another strong interest for both of us, and we love playing in the kitchen.
